How Indian Politician Used Pepper Spray In Parliament

An Indian lawmaker used pepper spray in the parliament as protests over the creation of a new state.
The reports said there were angry scenes in the powerful lower house on Thursday, as the government tabled a bill to form the new state of Telangana by means dividing the southern state of Andhra Pradesh.
According to the local media, the lawmaker used pepper spray as two groups of members for and against Telangana clashed.

The two affected politicians were given immediate medical attention.
Under the proposal, Telangana would comprise 10 northern districts, while 13 southern and coastal districts would form a Seemandhra state.
It would be recalled that the issue of forming separate Telangana has been relevant for almost 50 years and provoked violent protests, dividing the society into two groups: those who support it and those against a division of Andhra Pradesh.
