Popular Nigerian human rights activist, Japeth Omojuwa and other protesters have been reported to have been arrested in Abuja today by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC.
According to reports, Omojuwa and others were arrested while protesting the immigration bloody scandal that happened in various venues across the country last month.
It was gathered that while four arrested protesters were released, Omojuwa and some others are still under arrest.
Also, an eye witnesses informed that the human rights lawyer was slapped by the arresting officers.
He was said to be delivering 18 coffins to the ministry of Interior as Nigerians grieve the 18 unemployed youth who died from the recklessly performed scam.
It could be recalled that Omojuwa and one Ms Azeerah Mohammed had
someweeks ago led protests at the ministry where they sprayed "Bloody
Murderers" in front of the ministry.
