The state Commissioner of Police, Umar Manko disclosed this yesterday during a press briefing, he described the Police officers as fearless who fought so that there can be peace said they would never be forgotten. "The police authority will not forget the enormous contributions of the deceased officers. They died so that we can sleep with our two eyes closed," he said.
Manko also added that 111 murder cases were reported within the period under review.
"The challenge of policing Lagos State is enormous considering her cosmopolitan nature and prime position as the economic nerve center of the country. Since the command was poised to rid the state of criminals, we embraced intelligence-driven crime combating strategies under the mission statement," he said.
