After Humiliating Finish at World Cup, Luiz Felipe Scolari is Out as Brazil’s Coach

Brazil v Netherlands: 3rd Place Playoff - 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil
Finishing fourth place in the world tournament is honourable, but when you are the head coach of Brazil’s national team, not so much. As you know, the country hosted the competition.
After Brazil lost to Germany 7-1, as well as Netherlands 3-0, Luiz Felipe Scolari stated that he would leave his fate up to the federation. It has been announced that his contract would not be renewed, Globo reports.

On Saturday, he told reporters that, “We didn’t have great performances but we were reaching our goals. We still finished in the top four. I don’t think we can’t criticize the national team…My life goes on regardless.”
