Thor 2 star visits children’s hospital

hor: The Dark World' star Jaimie Alexander has surprised young Marvel fans at a children's hospital by appearing in full costume… and we think that's pretty awesome.
The 29-year-old actress (who appeared as Lady Sif in the recent 'Thor: The Dark World') surprised the kids of the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles - some of which won't be able to spend Christmas at home.

Suited up in full Asgard regalia, this is an impressive move by one of the stand-out women of recent comic book movies… and we think it's a lovely sentiment. Just look at the smiles on those kids' faces!

Having appeared in both 'Thor' movies, we can't help thinking Jaimie Alexander will almost certainly be around for a third… and frankly, it's something the fans would love. She's pretty quickly becoming a fan favourite alongside Thor and Loki. And Marvel would be mad not to include her in their future plans for the series.
And let's face it - she'd make a pretty great love interest for Thor if he ever gives up on Jane Foster.
But while Sif returns to Asgard, we're happy to see Jaimie Alexander putting her celebrity status to good use by doing a good deed this Christmas.
