Do Not Vote For Anyone Who Promises To End Boko Haram Insurgency After Assuming Power – Former Chief Of Staff To Jonathan

Former Chief of Staff to President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr Mike Oghiadomhe, has urged Nigerians not to vote for aspirants who say they will end the Boko Haram insurgency in the country only when they become the President.

Oghiadomhe, who answered questions from journalists in Auchi, Edo State, during the just concluded senatorial primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said it was hypocritical for any Nigerian to say he would only suggest ways of ending insurgency when he gets to power.

“You don’t know who the next victim of the insurgents will be.

We cannot take insurgency to be against a particular set of people or particular person in government or a particular government.

Insurgency is against Nigeria and Nigerians,” he said.
