This guy is giving away round-the-world plane ticket to anyone with his ex-gf’s name

This 27yr old man Jordan Axani is advertising on Reddit to take any girl named Elizabeth Gallagher on a world trip. According to his explanation, he said he booked a round-the-world trip with his girlfriend in March 2014 so they could spend Christmas and New Year together but they then broke up, leaving him with a spare ticket in the name of his Canadian ex-girlfriend.

He said he tried to get the name changed, but found a 'name change on a ticket is damn impossible' so he came on Reddit asking them to help him find anyone with the same name with the same nationality, who might want to join him on his trip. See what he wrote on Reddit after the cut...

"In March I booked a fairly wicked trip around the world for this Christmas for my ex and I. While our relationship has come to a close, I am still planning on going on the trip and she is not (naturally). And because I hate the idea of a ticket around the world going to waste, I am looking for a Canadian named Elizabeth Gallagher who could use the ticket.'
He also had a list for any prospective Elizabeth Gallaghers that might want to join him:
1. Be sane, smart and (hopefully) interesting.
2. Have always wanted to travel, but maybe haven't had the opportunity or cash to see much of the world.
3. Be named Elizabeth Gallagher and have a Canadian passport.
4. Be ready for a rather spontaneous life experience that will, one day, be an epic story that you'll tell your kids.
5. Pay it forward. I've been lucky in life and this is me giving back to the universe. Do something similar someday.
"I am not looking for anything in return, I am not looking for companionship, romance, drugs, a trade, or to take selfies with you in front the Christmas Market in Prague. If you feel compelled to toss me a couple hundred bucks, great. Really the only thing I ask for is that you enjoy this trip and that it bring you happiness.

'We can travel together and see some cool stuff – or not. I'm easy and have no problem with someone taking the tickets and doing their own thing (see ya on the plane!)'

The itinerary in full:
December 21: NYC —> Milan
December 28: Prague —> Paris
December 29: Paris —> Bangkok
January 7: Bangkok —> New Dehli
January 8: New Dehli —> Toronto

Nigerian man banned from work in the UK after visiting Nigeria

Sam Ogunnoiki, who works as a security guard at Stout Security Ltd headquartered in Cornwall, UK, has been told not to go to work over fears he may have Ebola after visiting Nigeria.

The 46 year old British citizen, faces a three-week quarantine from his employers who told him that he needs to get the all-clear from a British doctor before he can go back to work. Below is the letter (in full) his direct boss sent to him
"I have spoken to you and expressed my very deep concerns about your trip to Nigeria. Several members of staff have now voiced their concerns about the possibility of your carrying the Ebola virus back with you and have made it very clear that they are extremely reluctant to work with you on your return." Continue...
One member of staff has even written a clear and concise letter stating the concerns of your work colleagues. In this case I have to support their concerns especially as I have already voiced them personally to you. In order to allay any fears that you are a carrier for this deadly virus I feel I cannot allow you to return to work until you have been back in the United Kingdom for three weeks, which is the incubation period. I must also request that you visit your doctor on your return and get a clean bill of health before you can start work with us. I am very sorry about this Sam but everyone works in close proximity together and I have to put the concerns of the majority first.'
Sam, who said he's on a zero-hours contract now worries about not being paid. He said:
'Nigeria does not have Ebola but he said I have to be cleared. There is this stigma surrounding me now – it's just ignorance and a nightmare because I cannot work. I'm a British citizen. There is no justification for this at all.'
The boss who sent the letter, Mr Mannell, later defended his position saying:
'I did send Sam a letter saying anyone returning from any African countries for safety reasons cannot work for three weeks afterwards. I know Nigeria is Ebola-free but I don't know where he's travelled. My problem is that Pendennis [shipyard], which I have a contract with, sent me an email saying they cannot have anyone working there that's been in contact with Sam."

Boko Haram Beheads 2 Muslims, Imams In Mubi Adamawa, Warns Christians To Relocate Or Die

2 Imams Dragged Out Of Mosque And Beheaded For Preaching Against Boko Haram

Boko Haram terror sect is gradually gaining control of popular cities in Adamawa State.

Last week, the insurgents carried out two beheadings and 10 amputations in the commercial city of Mubi.

According to witnesses, the terrorists amputated the hands of 10 residents found guilty of looting and other sundry offences.

Sources in Mubi town said they saw the terrorists parading 10 persons whose hands were said to have been amputated.

The victims were said to been amputated in the presence of residents the insurgents asked to converge to witness the enforcement of Sharia law.
An eye witness account indicated that two imams were dragged out from a mosque and beheaded for allegedly preaching against Boko Haram. The insurgents also advised all Christians in the Mubi Local Government Area to relocate to other areas except they were prepared to be islamised or be killed.

The source further said that the Emir's palace in Mubi had been converted to the residence of the'Amir'and that the insurgents hoisted their flags to signify that they were in control of the palace.
"I must give thanks and praises to God almighty for spearing my life; I saw as people were being slaughtered like goats. I am too happy to see myself alive,"a female student of the Federal Polytechnic, told our correspondent in Yola on Sunday.

The insurgents said their mode of prayer was different from what Muslims in the town were used to and that they were"in Mubi to restore Islamic independence to the people and anybody who does not follow us must be killed."The terrorists reportedly told residents that they are not there to hurt anybody but to free them from religious slavery.

Many residents of Mubi have fled into Cameroon while some are still hiding in the bush without food or water.

Universities In Finland To Be Tuition-Free Again From 2015

It is good news to people seeking admission into Universities in Finland that Universities there will be tuition-free once again. Finnish Universities started a tuition trial which requires students offered admission within that period to pay school fees. This trial period has now ended.

According to a message on the Website of the  Lappeenranta University of Technology, there will be no tuition fee for the 2015 intake. This means that all tuition-free universities in Finland will not charge tuition fees from undergraduate students starting their studies in 2015.

In the same development, students who will be selected to Masters' Programmes in spring 2015 will not be charged tuition fees during their two-year study period because of the Finnish tuition fee trial period coming to end in the end of 2014.

Finland will evaluate the results of the trial period and make a national decision about the possible tuition fees in Finland sometime in the near future.
