In a news report on the spread of the Ebola virus in West Africa
yesterday, CNN made a huge blunder by erroneously referring to Niger
republic as Nigeria.
The station which is claiming that there are 1,603 cases, 887 deaths and a 55% fatality rate broadcast the above image to highlight the affected countries - Liberia, Sierra Leone and Nigeria. But they erroneously highlighted Niger republic rather than Nigeria which is right below Niger.
Looks like someone at CNN needs a crash course in Geography
